Access Control Lists - ACL
ISDN is a set of standards that describe an end-to-end digital network. The ISDN service is offered by telephone companies and it permits telephone networks to carry data, voice and other types of traffic.
TYPES OF ACL's
STANDARD ACL's Numbered 1 - 99
Use: Source Address, Permit or deny entire protocol
Placed: Close to the Destination

EXTENDED ACL's Numbered 100 - 199
Use: Source Address Destination Address Port Numbers Protocols
Placed: close to the source
   
Standard IPX ACL 800 - 899
Extended IPX ACL 900 -999
IPX SAP 1000 - 1099
   
How Many? One ACL for IN and one for OUT on each interface per protocol.
